Community Liaison Officer
Mary Brooksbank School employs a Community Liaison Officer two days per week to support parents and carers to improve social, emotional, health and educational outcomes for students. Their role is to:
- Assist in the development and implementation of support programs for students and communities.
- Support the development of consultative mechanisms to promote understanding between the community and the school.
- Assist school communities to access support services by strengthening inter-agency collaboration.
- Facilitate community involvement in program implementation and other initiatives including student wellbeing.
