Community Liaison Officer
Mary Brooksbank School (MBS) employs a Community Liaison Officer (CLO) two days per week. The role of the CLO is to work with the parents, the school and the NSW Department of Education to develop effective partnerships that enable students to pursue successful educational and post school pathways.
The CLO also provides liaison with communities, government and non-government agencies to ensure students and their families have access to appropriate services and programs. Interpretation and translation to assist the communication between schools and families, is also crucial to their role.
